Field Project Foreman: Roofing Division

Our Field Project Manager will be responsible for customer communication and job organization throughout the roof replacement process, make our customer service beyond excellent!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all communication with the customer the day of job.
  • Make a phone call to the customer when in route to job and introduce yourself to the customer upon arrival and before the crew begins work.
  • Hand the customer your business card to ensure proper communication.
  • Review the scope of work with the homeowner before the job is started.
  • Place Bone Dry Roofing sign in yard.
  • Take pictures of problem areas (bad wood, etc.) to document need for wood replacement or additional work.
  • Communicate with crew members to ensure the job is completed to Bone Dry standards for safety and quality. Ensure safety practices are being enforced throughout the entire day.
  • Place wood against all windows and doors and tarps around the perimeter of home prior to crew beginning work. Complete Tool Box Talk paperwork prior to job starting.
  • Ensure each item of inspection is completed and the jobsite is cleaned with a magnet.
  • Coordinate with management to complete final quality assurance walkthrough at completion of each job.
  • Complete job folder and appropriate paperwork. (Inspection report, crew payroll, finalized Tool Box Talk.)
  • Meet with the homeowner at completion of the job to answer any questions, finalize the invoice, and provide copy of roof warranty.
  • If any work is yet to be completed, document the items to be done and turn them in, along with the job folder to customer service to ensure items are addressed immediately.
  • Return all remaining materials to the supplier for credit to Bone Dry account (supplier/shop).
  • Dump trailer.
  • Foreman is to collect payment for each job within 7 days.
  • Foreman is to be the first person on the jobsite and last to leave.
  • Turn in completed job folders with tickets and invoices, as well as photos.
  • Job Site Duties:
    • flashing on brick chimneys
    • Install Soffit vents
    • Cut in trim boards
  • Pick up permits for all applicable jobs.
  • Keep truck clean and in compliance with DOT specs.
  • Each Foreman is responsible for working a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month during the busy season (March 1st through November 30th).

Work Environment Requirements

  • The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
  • The ability to move, set up, and extend ladders of all sizes.
  • The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without giving out or fatiguing.
  • The ability to see details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to keep or regain your body balance or stay upright when in an unstable position.
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Working in an outdoor environment daily in all types of weather.
